Olivia A Cameron
Olivia has a broad practice with a focus on public law, commercial law (particularly technology law, telecommunications and IT), regulatory law, public inquiries and coronial inquests.
Olivia comes to the Bar with over ten years’ legal experience, having practiced in commercial law, criminal law, and public law. She has also developed her oral advocacy through appearing extensively across several Magistrates’ Courts in Victoria as a civil advocate.
Prior to signing the Bar Roll, Olivia was an Assistant Director in the Cyber Affairs & Critical Technology Branch at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and prior to that she was a Senior Legal Officer in the Privacy Act Review team at the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department. Olivia began her legal career as a solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills.
Tim Burn-Francis
Tim Burn-Francis practises in commercial litigation and is a specialist in intellectual property, media and entertainment law.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Tim was a solicitor at specialist intellectual property and entertainment firm, Simpsons, in Sydney. At Simpsons, he acted on some of Australia’s most recent high profile intellectual property and entertainment industry cases.
Prior to Simpsons, Tim was a solicitor in the intellectual property and trade mark prosecution teams at Herbert Smith Freehills.
