Natalie Hickey practises in general commercial litigation and is a specialist in intellectual property. She has extensive experience in commercial and consumer law including equitable claims arising from unconscionable conduct, as well as statutory claims arising under the Australian Consumer Law. Natalie also practises in sports law and defamation. She has a Masters’ degree from the University of Melbourne in media and telecommunications law.

A former law firm partner of King & Wood Mallesons, she has extensive experience in commercial and consumer law including equitable claims arising from unconscionable conduct, as well as statutory claims arising under the Australian Consumer Law.
She has acted in many disputes concerning copyright, trade marks, designs, marketing, brands, confidential information, the Internet and digital technology.
Natalie holds a Masters’ degree in media and telecommunications law from the University of Melbourne; her thesis was in defamation. She has a keen interest in all media-related matters, including social media.
She also practises in sports law. Natalie has served as a Counsel assisting the Cricket Australia Code of Conduct Commission since the 2017/2018 cricket season. She is a member of the Netball Australia Super Netball League Disciplinary and Appeals Panel (since 2018), and a former board member of the Thoroughbred Racehorse Owners' Association, Inc. (TROA) (2016 - 2022).
